Clearing Ancestral Blocks to Prosperity Series

This will be a series of 3 sessions tailor-made for the needs of the group, focusing on clearing whatever ancestral blocks come up, including Systemic Loyalties, Exclusions and Lineage Disconnects. Wednesday nights, 10/19, 10/26 and 11/2. The fee is $108 and you can apply a $27 credit if you’ve taken either of the above stand alone sessions.

The Ancestral Alchemy work includes repatterning, energy work and ritual that is based on Family Constellations Therapy created by Bert Hollinger. It is done with repatterning based on Family Constellations written by Carin Block, a therapist, Family Constellations practitioner and Resonance Repatterning teacher. I have further evolved this work based on intuitive guidance and knowledge of the Vedic, yogic and certain shamanic traditions. I offer it in group sessions, one- on- one, and as part of a longer workshop.

The Ancestral Alchemy work is based on principles and practices of Family Constellations therapy as taught by Bert Hellinger and others, but it is NOT Constellations work per se. Applying concepts from Family Constellations, I work in the repatterning format, where we use kinesiology or muscle checking to find the repatterning that will best address the issues. Most Constellation work is done in a group, but the Ancestral Alchemy work is equally about working individually, one-on-one as it is about group work.

What is Family System work and how is it different than the usual healing or therapy?

When there is an issue with family system roots, it will have more to do with ancestors or with the entire family and its history, than simply your history growing up with your parents and siblings. You may be affected by relatives you never knew, by your ethnic roots (slavery has left a HUGE imprint on African Americans for example), and by many other events that are not in your conscious awareness.

One example is the idea of systemic loyalty. So you could be holding onto a problem for the sake of loyalty to your family system. What does being loyal mean here? Being loyal means we fit in, we are accepted, we are one of the family—we belong—and belonging means that we will receive love, food, caring and the support we need, from our family. In other words, to survive, we must be loyal to our family and do whatever our family says is the right thing to do (In one family, being happy might be the ‘right thing ‘, in another family it might be that being sad is the ‘right thing’).

There are many other factors that can come into play from Family Systems work. We may need the blessings or permission from our ancestors to live differently and release feelings, beliefs and vows made in earlier generations. We may need to actually connect to our ancestors and feel the life force flowing from them to us. We might need to address the Violence Cycle, which keeps people repeating the role of victim or perpetrator. There are many possibilities of ancestral and family patterns that can be healed working this way.
